Leap motion not working with VUP

I recently bought a leap motion controller, and was attempting to use it with VUP. After receiving an error telling me programs "are requesting features not available in the current version" and I need to upgrade to the latest V2 release. I upgraded to the latest hand tracking software, stated here https://forums.leapmotion.com/t/error-with-handtracking-incorrect-software-version/15949
and now im no longer receiving the error but the tracking isnt working.

if it helps at all VSeeFace is detecting and receiving the tracking, so i know it works. Could it be an issue solely with VUP?

Hi @lastedlantz, please can you let me know which version of our hand tracking software you are using and if you have followed the VUP setup guide for the Leap Motion Controller here?

But VUP has not upgraded the driver, and still uses the old driver (that is, the driver provided in this tutorial)
If you want Leap Motion to work in VUP, please use the driver from this tutorial
And please uninstall the latest driver(Gemini v5) before installing the older driver

Now I need to figure out how to uninstall Gemini v5 and install this old one

Orion V4 is also available here on the software releases page of our Dev site.

To uninstall go to add/remove programs find Ultraleap Tacking and click uninstall. Next, extract the V4 download package, run the installer and follow the on-screen prompts.
