Is there any useful software for original 2013 leap motion controllers?

Hi - I've got a pair of the original release 2013 controllers, I've just installed one of them again, but I'm struggling to get any apps to acknowledge it? I can see the hands tracking in the visualiser, but apps like kyoto, or aerotouch constantly say the leapmotion is disconnected. Is this because tehy need the V2 Controller? If so is there anything I can use my v1 controllers for?

The Leap Motion Controller hardware hasn't changed significantly since it was designed, the magic lies on the software.

To use the Kyoto and Aerotouch you will need to download and install our V2 software, if you are using it on Windows 10 Fall Creators Update and later releases remember to apply the manual hotfix to overcome a compatibility issue.

Must likely a driver issue, re-install the drivers only and it should fix the problem.. you will find the drivers files in the installation folder if I am not mistaken.

Good suggestion, the Win USB drivers can be reinstalled by running the file at the location below:

Leap Motion\Core Software\Drivers\dpinst64.exe
