What version of the software are you running? Note that Orion doesn't support HP-embedded devices; you'll want to use the V2 software.

My Leap Motion is running in Software Version: 2.3.1+31549.? I just auto updated it. is this the right software version?

That should be the latest V2 software version. Have you tried uninstalling the software and doing a clean installation to see if that works?

If Fn+Space doesn't work, try right clicking on the Leap Motion Control Panel icon and select resume tracking from there

So here is an Image of my LM Control panel and somehow its asking me to insert a LEAP MOTION CONTROLLER which clearly I don't need on my HP ENVY 17 because it's already build in. So where can I download the software of the Build in Leap Motion for HP Envy 17???

That is the correct software version. The fact that it's not detecting the sensor is a separate issue. Could you check the Leap Motion Control Panel icon and let me know what color the icon is? Also, hover your mouse over the icon and let me know what the text says as well.

Ah, that's a good sign then. The service is basically how the computer communicates with the controller. If it's not running, it won't detect the sensors. Try following the instructions on this page to see if it fixes the issue for you: https://support.leapmotion.com/hc/en-us/articles/223784008-How-to-Manually-Restart-Leap-Core-Services

Happy to hear it! If you run into the same issue after rebooting, you can try opening up services.msc and set the startup type for the leap service to Automatic(delayed) to see if that fixes it for you

I have the same problem with my HP ENVY 17 Leap Motion SE" w/ LeapMotion,

I can not turn it on usinf fn+space bar.

I wanted to download that driver you provided for the other user but
the link is dead, could you please provide a new one? Thanks!
