I have the same problem with my HP Envy j161-ea 17" Touch w/ LeapMotion,

I wanted to download that driver you provided for the other user but the link is dead, could you please provide a new one? Thanks!

Hi there,

Sorry to hear that! Have you tried these steps?:

Go to Programs and Features
Locate the Leap Motion Software
Uninstall the current version of Leap Motion (don't check the uninstall Airspace apps)
Restart the computer after the uninstall
Download the latest version from here:
https://warehouse.leapmotion.com/apps/3439/download99
(Leap_Motion_Installer_release_public_win_x86_1.2.2+11000_ah1704.exe)
Install that version.
After install launch both Airspace and the Leap Motion Control Panel
At that point try pressing Fn+Space

I have HP ENVY 17-j110ea with windows 7 64bit on it and when I use FN+ Space nothing happens no light will turn. I downloaded Leapmotion Version: 2.2.2+24469 and on the software log it says Leap service is not running. When I look from services.msc I can't find LeapService from list. And in the device manager all seems to be okay . Any suggestions ?

Do you have any anti-virus software installed on your system?

No anti-virus intalled it was clean computer, downgraded from windows 8. it's strange cause like the recalibration thing that is in the Leap motion controller (the one you need to move mirror or someting on the sensor) works at that time sensor turns lights on the. But every other time there is nothing fn+space does nothing.

Can you try the following:

Search "cmd" in Windows search. Press Ctrl+Shift+Enter to run as administrator.
Type: cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Leap Motion\Core Services
Type: LeapSvc.exe --install
Close the Leap Motion Control Panel (from the taskbar)
Re-open the Leap Motion Control Panel (from C:\Program Files (x86)\Leap Motion\Core Services)
Reboot the computer.

Well, unfortunately, here I am again. Once again after an update my controller would not turn on...Trying to be proactive I uninstalled the program without knowing that the link above would not work any longer. I cannot seem to locate working link to reinstall it. Any info would be great. Thanks in advance.
