GECO doesn't recognize leap controller

Hi,

i installed the latest software (tried version 2 as well) and the controller is recognized in visualizer, but when i start GECO, it tells me "please connect your leap motion controller and make sure the leap motion software is running.

am i missing a step here?

I'm using Windows 10.

Thank you for confirming. GECO Midi requires our older V2 SDK to function correctly.

If you are not using V2 please can you download and install it from here and apply this manual hotfix. The hotfix is needed in order to resolve a compatibility issue between this older SDK and recent releases of Windows 10.

Please let me know if this gets you up and running, there are also some tutorials and documentation available on the developers website here.

I followed your instruction, and guess what? EVERYTHING WORKS NOW!!!!
Now I need to connect to Ableton Live and to Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol. Do you have any suggestions on how to to this?

Following this with interest. I did manage to get GECO working to the point of its built-in display indicating correct interpretations of hand motion, but then I got lost getting that signal into Ableton in a way I could use.

I'm in the early stages of teaching myself C/C++ to build an updated version of GECO based on the vastly superior 4.x software, but that's a good ways away. :>
