Desktop control with gesture

Hi support team,

I see there're apps in Gallery to support for gesture control on Windows like AeroTouch, GameWAVE, Touchless or Shortcuts which requires V2 driver. As a result, the V2 driver is failed to install on Windows 10 already and none of above can be run with orion driver.

Can we still develop app as above with V4 APIs/SDK for Windows 10?
Minimum requirement is to control Chrome to scroll up/down, click, switch tabs and navigate Google earth 3D map(move/tumble/zoom).
If it's doable, please elaborate where to start with and how.

Hey Kyle, because of some changes in Windows 10 there is a special fix you'll need to use in order to make V2 work: https://forums.leapmotion.com/t/resolved-windows-10-fall-creators-update-bugfix/6585

I just bought this product as well. I really wish they told you that there are NO applications available and you MUST delop anything on your own. Not to mention there is almost no help or community. Bummer I wasted the money. Oh well

You still can install V2 (2.3.1 to be exact), but there's a trick.

When during the installation you're asked to Ignore, Retry or Cancel something related to nVidia drivers, just ignore and finish the installation. As a result it won't recognize your Leap Motion, BUT...

1- Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Leap Motion\Core Services\Drivers
2- Double click on dpinst64.exe or dpinst.exe depending on your OS (x64 o x86)

That would install the files you're missing and should start (green) your Leap Motion
