"Allow Background Apps" not in my settings

I'm trying to use gamewave.

I really don't get it, nobody else seems to have this issue.

Hi there - this is happening to me as well.
I jsut downloaded what I assumed would be the latest software on a new PC.

Software Version: 4.0.0+52173
Firmware: 1.7.0

This option was removed in the Orion software, you'll need to install the V2 software to use background apps: https://leapmotion.box.com/s/1mqiux5sxho930521gfqt6f056ygkieq

If you're running Win10, you'll also need to apply the bugfix here: https://forums.leapmotion.com/t/resolved-windows-10-fall-creators-update-bugfix/6585

Hello.
i know this is a olf thread, but i recently put my old leap motion hardware on my new win 10 computer ( first or second generation i think from the time where there is a pay app store )

the controller is working but i can't launch any of the software that i bakup ( gamewave that i bought at this time) because of the error "allow background apps"

i can't find any working link to download the V2 software. all link are dead...

can you help me with a good link to v2 software ?

Hi @othar, our V2 SDK can be downloaded from our developer site here, to resolve a compatibility issue with recent releases of Windows 10 you will need to apply a manual hotfix by following the instructions on this forum thread.

If you are unable to download this software please send me a screenshot of the error that you are seeing to support@ultraleap.com and I will be able to help you further with this.

ok...thank you, i found the problem : the link of the site was blocked because of my pihole and use of cname trick on the page with link to go.pardot.com that is blacklisted.

now, my controller is working. thanks
