On most apps I have downloaded I get an error message that says
Activation FailedTo run this app for the first time, you need to be connected to the Internet. Please check your connection and try again.
My internet connection is working fine since I'm able to download the apps and write this.
I'm running OSX 10.9.3

@pier25 & @aplittlecub -- the issue appears to be resolved now -- just relaunch the apps and everything should work fine. Let me know if you continue to experience any strangeness.

Hi, there.I'm having the same issue for many apps. I would like to know if there is any real fix coming to that instead just restart the services which is not working in my case.
Btw, also running on OSX 10.9.
@alesr The problem in this case was that a 3rd-party web service used during app activation was down for an extended period. That doesn't seem to be the case right now, so you could be experiencing a different issue.
Having the same issue here now.. any new apps will not work.. and I am connected to the internet.. old apps work but no new ones.. same error

Hi, just bought Leap Motion and I'm too getting this error. It affects 80% of applications.
i bought a leap motion and I'm having this bug its very disappointing hence i paid a large sum of money for it
I have exactly the same problem with some of the Apps. Does anyone have any clue how to fix it?
Seeing this problem too, can't activate almost any app after buying the controller... please fix asap

We've had a number of reports from other users with the same issue. I've contacted our DRM partner for more information. I'll post an update as soon as I hear back from them
One user has since reported that they were able to get their apps authenticated. Could you give it a try again and let me know how it goes?
