VR - Hand palm position changes with rotation

Hi,

I am trying to get the palm position i.e. the distance from the sensor origin. The problem is that when the user turns their head in VR despite keeping their hands at the same distance to the sensor, the palm position changes significantly.

How can i keep it consistent irrespective of rotation?

The distance from the sensor origin is different from its position relative to the sensor. You need to draw a vector from the palm position to the controller and take its length.
