With the Oculus Rift CV1 shipping today, lots of people have asked about using our VR Developer Mount with the new headset.
While the mount itself works great with just about any VR headset, its flat design means that you’ll need a slightly thicker adhesive strip for the slightly curved CV1 faceplate. These thicker strips provide a stronger hold along the entire width of the mount.
Just about any 1/8" adhesive strips should do the trick. You can get them from your local hardware store or from Amazon: http://bit.ly/DIYadhesive. And don’t worry -- these strips won’t stain or leave nasty residue on your Rift.
