I've developed a scan-based virtual cave with cinema-grade textures, that workflow providing for relighting, which begs for gesture controlled lighting for added immersion. I bought into Leap Motion long before it was released, yet to implement into my workflow, now see the plugin ready in UE4. I have a Blueprint for user picking up a flashlight model, switches to a light source locked to the camera, which mimics a caver's headlamp. While this works okay when looking and navigating, I'd much prefer waving the flashlight around, much more interesting lighting to not be static locked to the camera and not on-axis. Seeing the flashlight model is possibly a big plus, but I'm concerned about drawing too much attention to the light itself and away from the cave, especially given I can't control convergence in the 3D plugin for UE4. I'm not in VR, am feeding a 3D projector to a room full of students with active shutter glasses. Many thanks for guidance. I'm sure this is fairly simple, but thanks for not assuming any level of ground knowledge, though I'll begin reading up in the guide. Thanks, again.
