Using Leap Motion without VR

Hello! I am pretty new to the leap motion thing and I was wondering if I could use the Orion or V2 SDK for creating a Unity or Unreal Engine 4 desktop application, i.e. without using a head mounted display like Oculus or Vive. Furthermore, would that be as precise as a VR app concerning the hands movement and response?

You can create desktop apps using our Unity and Unreal integrations, and the tracking will be roughly on par.
