I am unable to open the app home from anywhere. I've turned off and antivirus software, firewalls, and uninstalled and reinstalled with restarting. Trying to open it as an administrator does not work either. I have it correctly located in my program files and there are correct shortcuts to the application, but when I click on it I get the loading circle for a fraction of a second and then nothing happens. Its not running in the background afterwards. I've tried every compatibility mode setting to try and get this to work and nothing seems to be doing anything. Any Ideas?

We've already resolved this for you through your support ticket but here's the solution for any other people that may run into this issue.

  1. Press Windows + X and the Windows Power Menu should appear near the Start button
  2. From the Windows Power Menu, select the System option, at which point the System Control Panel should appear.
  3. From the System Control Panel select the Inline image 3 Advanced system settings option, at which point the System Properties window will appear
  4. From the System Properties window, select the Environment Variables option
  5. Locate the TEMP and TMP Variables in the "User variables for Spencer Martin" section and edit both so that they have only the following as their values:
    %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp
  6. Then click OK, then Apply and OK, at which point Windows may prompt you to restart your machine. (If it doesn't go ahead and restart at this point).

I have the correct values for TEMP variables but App Home still fails to start. Any suggestions?

Do you get any kind of error message when you try running it?
