launch any apps from App Home

Hello,

I got a device today. I can enjoy the demo (playground), but can not download/install any apps such as robo chess, form & function 3D from Leap Motion APP Home. When clicked an app, it repeats "installing" three times, but can not launch. When I click it, again "installing".
I am using MacMini (2014 September) and Yosemite.

So, following the URL below, I uninstalled Leap Motion.app,
https://support.leapmotion.com/entries/39493988-Uninstalling-the-Leap-Motion-software-on-Mac-OSX7
and re-installed Leap Motion from https://www.leapmotion.com/setup.
However, nothing changed. Again I can enjoy playground only, but no launching of any apps.

I use regular public DNS that does not seem the cause of the problem. Not behind proxy. I can not find any appropriate log files.

Please give me suggestions for further investigations.

Hi,

I am using MacMini 6.2 which I bought last September.
Memory: 16GB
OS: Yosemite 10.10.1(14B25).
Network: Ethernet (not WiFi)

Can I see log file? Where is it located?

Create a new folder titled "AirspaceApps" from the following path: /MacintoshHD/Users/%username%

Once I created AirspaceApps under Applications, it started working fine. Thank you.

One question: who should create AirspaceApps directory? I think it is Home App.
And I like to suggest you that you write this TIPS somewhere in your "Get started."

It's a known issue -- we're investigating solutions. Glad the issue is rectified.

Hi I am having the same problem, I have checked and I have found the AirSpaceApps Folder it currently has 4 apps in it RoboChess, Collider etc.. I have purchased a number of Apps as well as a number of Free Apps, however they all show up as Blank Black Icons, I have moved the mouse over them and I get and option to Install which I select however they do not download, please help... Gerry

If anyone is looking at this in 2017 then you should know that apps will no longer download in to the app home. Instead you just download them from the gallery and treat them as if they were normal downloads. basically the App Home is no longer necessary for leap motion apps and so they do not download into the App Home Any More.

I miss the app store I would rather buy the apps and have them work than leap motion gallery which is constantly problematic. since leap Motion made all the apps free they basically killed off the incentives for the app developers. Trying to find support for these apps is now very difficult.
