There are a couple of ways to do this. You could attach a couple of infrared markers to your monitor and then computer vision techniques to map those into the environment, or you could create a calibration utility (e.g. upon startup, make a pinch gesture at the lower left and upper right corners of the monitor to bring it into the space).
