1 of my passions is creating music with software like FastTracker 2, Rebirth and nowadays Reason.
With the introduction of tablets and smartphone's this becomes even more fun with apps like Figure.

1 of my other passions is creative coding, creating fun interactive experiments which people hipefully enjoy.

With Soundscape VR I combined those 2 passions into a unique VR experience.

Cool! Are you going to add to the visuals? Feels like you could do a lot even just with just what's already there

I agree - that background mesh could animate nicely to the music giving the whole game a lot of life.
Looking forward to trying it out.

Added Freestyle mode:
- the distance between both index fingers on the x axis, determines the note
- the distance between both index fingers on the y axis, determines the phase modulation (custom script thanks to Andre Michelle)
- visualization of the waveform between the index fingers

Enjoy creating music with your fingertips in an immersive abstract landscape.

FEATURES:
Tonematrix - 16 x 12 grid where you can adjust:
- toggle individual notes
- change oscillator type
- change effects
Drumcomputer - 16 x 8 grid where you can:
- toggle individual drumcomputer samples
- mute drumcomputer channel
- change effects
Freestyle - continuous oscillator where you can:
- change note
- change effect
Visualization based on generated audio

Use you left and right index finger to interact with the panels and matrices.
A pointer shows how close you are to the surface.

I wanted to implement the features below before the end of the 3DJam.
Unforseen circumstances determince otherwise, so here it is now.
