Did not help. "LeapService" is missing from the list. The setup wizard said I need NVidia driver for my video card but I'm already using one. I have tried updating the NVidia driver to the latest version, but it didn't help. My card is RTX2060, my on-board GPU is Intel UHD Graphics 630. Anything I should try? I don't care about VR, I just want to use it as a simple pointing device for I got office syndrome. LEAP is more than 9 years old already, that's why I'm disappointed that it can't do even the simplest task without problems.

Believe me, you guys don't have to put all the efforts into VR. Just make it do the simplest task to replace mouse and your sale will be skyrocketed. Once you have a solid user base, then VR development will grow faster also.

Thank you for the quick response. The instruction says "Open up services.msc and pause or stop LeapService". I can't find the mentioned "LeapService" there. My software version is 2.3.1 (The 4.0.0 version works fine and its service runs correctly, but I want to use "TouchlessForWindows_LM" which requires 2.x).

Actually, if you read carefully, they DO recommend backing up both files in step 3....

1. Open up services.msc and pause or stop LeapService
2. Navigate to your Leap Motion software installation folder and go to the Core Services folder (default C:\Program Files (x86)\Leap Motion\Core Services)
   3. Backup LeapSvc.exe and LeapSvc64.exe in a separate folder
3. For V2 users, download and unzip this file701 into the Core Services folder, replacing LeapSvc.exe and LeapSvc64.exe
4. Return to services.msc and restart LeapService
5. Launch a Leap Motion enabled application and test!

The hex fix using UltraEdit - Replace (copy and paste the hex strings mentioned) did the job.

Amazing job, it is working flawlessly now, here's what I have done,
I have the latest Windows 10 update and installed the latest version LeapDeveloperKit_4.1.0+52211_win but the status was disconnected and followed the instruction step by step and at step 4 instead of replacing the V2 files, I implemented the alternative way of replacing the code within the one given in the instruction with UltraEdit and now everything works perfect and it's all good, thank you so much.

I am using sublime to open it but I couldn't find these scripts.
Did I miss anything?

Btw, I have tried with replace the new file, which doesn't work for me.
