Thanks Alex.
According to this post, the interaction box is only 235mmx235mmx147mm, which is roughly 10"x10"x6", which seems rather small. I've been developing using a 24" monitor and found that I can achieve a 1:1 real hand/virtual hand tracking (meaning that moving my real hand from one corner of the monitor to the opposite corner will result in my virtual hand doing the same on screen).
However I don't think this 1:1 tracking will be achievable on a larger screen, since the real volume in front of the screen will be much bigger than the interaction box. Is this the right way to think about it? I need to tell our client what screen size to buy for the experience so I'd like to give my most accurate estimate if possible.
Also, I have a couple other question about the interaction engine, should I create a new post or keep asking them in this thread?
Thanks!
