Hi Matthew,
The Stereo IR 170 Evaluation Kit is designed for manufacturers and developers to experiment and develop with ahead of a direct integration into their hardware, such as headsets, kiosks etc. It is not designed for use by end users, but is positioned so that you can purchase a couple of these for your design and planning stage and then contact us when you are ready to ramp up production into a final design.
It will run on any Windows 10 Kiosk or touchscreen. The system requirements are here .
TouchFree creates a virtual ‘touchscreen’ in front of an actual screen. Your hand movement is then tracked and converted to a virtual cursor on screen. This triggers “touch” events as your hand interacts with this virtual panel to activate the interactive elements of your user interface. This video explains it well.
TouchFree currently have two interaction types andI recommend reading our User Manual and Touchless Interaction Guidelines for more info on these.
We also have a camera position visualiser tool that is available here for you to use as well. This tool allows you to create a mockup of your screen size and adjust the position of the tracking device to find the most effective placement for your interface.
Let me know if you have any questions
