Questions before purchasing Leap, about using it as a real mouse substitute

Hi all!

I'm interested in purchasing a Leap Motion to use as a mouse controller.

I do develop games in Unity, so as a secondary purpose I could use this as a controller, but my primary objective is to be able to replace the mouse, as I have some elbow pain issues.

I've searched the forums about using the Leap in a multimonitor setup (I have 3 monitors) but haven't found any message about this.

So...

• Currently, in 2019, I could use Leap to completely replace a traditional 3 buttons + scroll mouse?
• Can Leap be used with a 3 monitors setup? does Leap has a control panel to map "mouse" area as some tablets have?
• Anyone has experiences using Leap on a daily basis instead of a mouse? I do >8 hours each day in front of the computer...

What you're outlining is possible, but would require a fair degree of programming work in order to build a custom application for it. There are a few legacy computer control applications, but none of them are designed for three-monitor setups.
