Problem when using the interaction engine example

Hi,

I am currently exploring the use of leapmotion. I am building a small proof of concept on the top of the interaction engine example.

You can see that when I pick up the chair or the deck that at some point the object becomes very jittery and then eventually leaves my hand with a relatively high velocity.

I was wandering what do I need to do to avoid this?

Could these be caused by the object (rigid body) coming into contact with my head while I am manipulating it?

Is there anything I can do avoid this behaviour?

I can't watch the video -- I just get an "error, try later" message.

There is no head object for the objects to collide with (unless you added one). What kind of colliders are you using on the objects?

Hi,

Is the video working now? I think google was doing something to it.
Let me know otherwise I might try upload it on dropbox.

No I did not add a collider to the head.

For the chair, I have 2 box colliders, one for the back, one for the sit + legs

For the table I have 5 box colliders, one for each leg and one for the top.

The video works now.

For the jittering, you can probably change the MoveToController to use the MoveToControllerKinematic algorithm. The velocity algorithm tries to move the object into place by adding the correct velocity. It may be that the position of the center of mass of your objects is throwing the calculation off and leading to this jitter.
