Playground doesn't work

Hi, there!

I bought the Leap Motion and tried the Playground app.
However, when I enter into the field of view of the LM, the app shows the sign indicating that the LM doesn't connect.
When I tried the inspection visualizer, the LM seemed to work correctly about 30fps.
Why does the playground app? Is the spec of my machine not enough?

The spec of my machine is the following:
XPS 13 9360,
Proessor: Inter(R) Core(TM) i7-7560U,
RAM: 16GB and
OS: Windows 10 Pro.

I installed the driver of the LM with Leap_Motion_Orion_Setup_win_3.2.1.exe.

There's a known issue with the Playground app where it doesn't detect the controller correctly. Are you running Playground through the App Home application? If so, try downloading the version from our Gallery to see if that works for you:

Also, my problem wasn't resolved by the app downloaded from the URL you provided for me.

Thanks for testing that for me. Unfortunately, that's a known issue with Playground and there isn't really a fix until a new version is released. You'll have to use other apps from our Gallery until it has been updated.

As of November 2019, the download from the link sort of works but cuts out frequently, showing a no-connection image.

When using from App Home it seems to be looking for the app in the old x86 Program Files folder. Perhaps this is where the pre-Orion stuff was?

Is there source available for this particular demo so we can do our own build? It's a great demo showing the power of this device - particularly the petal-picking demo. Would be nice to create a working VR demo.

Correct, pre-Orion App Home stuff was kept in a single directory.
