Hello Leap Motion developers,
We’ve heard your feedback and have been busy streamlining the app submission process, and we now have some exciting news to share with you. In the past, you needed to submit both an app Binary and an App Details version together with every submission. This is no longer the case! While apps still require both an approved Binary and an approved App Details page before going live on Airspace, you’ll no longer be required to submit both when revising only one or the other.
Binaries and App Details can now be submitted individually, so only select/submit the updated files.
This also means that the major version number for App Details and Binaries will no longer need to match, although as a best practice we do recommend that you maintain a uniformity in the number of digits and decimal separators between builds.
We hope you like this first step in a larger Airspace submission redesign and refinement effort that we’ll be talking more about in the coming weeks. For all questions about app submissions or submission status, you can always send an email to email@example.com.
