I installed Leap Motion VR Mount in June and now i noticed that the Leap Motion was pointing down a little and the "tape" has been broken/teared in some way. I have only removed Leap Motion twice from Oculus, is this normal? And is there some way to fix that?
It looks like the foam is getting separated from the adhesive on the mount. The quickest and easiest way to fix this would be to pull the mount completely off and remove the foam from the back of the mount. You can reattach the mount using a foam adhesive. You can find instructions on how to do this on our blog here: http://blog.leapmotion.com/hacking-old-vr-developer-mount-for-the-oculus-rift-and-htc-vive/
I was able to pull up your order and it looks like you're still within our warranty period. I've created a support ticket for you so we can replace your mount.
Oh, thanks for the fix! And thanks for the warranty thing, if it is possible to get a new one i think i will wait for that since my Leap Motion does not work really well with my hand and is skipping a lot
