Multiple Leap devices on one machine (2017)

Hi,

i tried using multiple devices on machine by using VirtualBox. Each instance has a USB-port mapped to it and everything works fine so far, except one thing. After a complete restart, these mappings are lost as long as i manually disconnect the Leap devices and plug them in again. As i have to use it for a standalone museum installation, this makes it quite unusable. I also tried configuring USB timeouts in BIOS settings with no effect. Does anyone have an idea or even a solution for this? (I would really like to use VirtualBox, as it seems to deliver the best performance for my purposes).

Well done on getting it work at all...

You imply you can remap/reconnect manually by physically disconnecting, then reconnecting the leap motion/s.

Can you do the same by exiting the leap motion program/icon - or maybe disabling and re-enabling? Or by starting the process manually?

If so, could you automate this using autohotkey (or similar) to create a macro to do this on startup.
