Mixed Reality Use + Bracket

The current mount you can get for VR, does anybody have any clue if it will fit on the new mixed reality units being released? Specifically the Samsung Odyssey.

In addition, this should be able to be used with steam VR once WMR supports it, but will leap motion work within the windows vr environment?

From the images I've seen of the Odyssey headset, the mount should fit fine as the back of the mount is curved.

To my knowledge, there's nothing preventing the Leap Motion from working within the Windows VR environment. It's more a matter of if the applications themselves support Windows VR and Leap Motion tracking.

One important thing to note is that Windows MR runs in its own environment and doesn't play nice with native applications like ours. We don't currently plan on producing a separate WMR SDK, though this may change. In the meantime developers will need to seek alternate approaches (i.e. sending data into the WMR sandbox).

Are there some new advancements on this? I'm thinking about which gear to use when developing for Orion & Unity3D. I'll probably purchase Odyssey, but is it any use if UWP isn't supported? I think developement will work anyway, but it's just that I can't build the app?

What are your thoughts on this? I guess Leap Motion is betting on the new VR Gear that has Leap Motion built-in and support for these will come for Unity. But meanwhile...?

Issue I had was the lack of support for Windows Mobile Platform... you can poc but not build... leap motion errors out at build.
