LMD appears as a camera in device manager on Win10

The device itself is working. The LMD is registering fine in the LM control panel and I've calibrated it. My issue lies with the SDK software package that I downloaded (4.1.0). I even checked the forum to see if other people had the same issue and if the company posted some supplementary driver software but I could not find any. I'm trying to set up my device for on body use to work with my campus' looking glass display. I think I just need help getting the device to register as a USB controller. Any ideas?

Hi, The Leap Motion Controller will appear as a camera in Windows and this is the correct behaviour for the device.

Please can you let me know a bit more about what you are trying to do and why you need this to appear as a USB controller?

For reference, Looking Glass have a tutorial available here which will guide you through setting up our hand tracking to work with their product.
