Are there any plans for bringing the Orion SDK to Mac/ Linux?
The difference between the new and the old v2 SDK is incredible and there is a large market outside of VR/ AR who would benefit from the improved tracking and range

Not so great that there are no plans currently, but great to hear it's still something your listening to us mac/ linux users!
Another bump, remember that a bunch of artists (not only technologists) use the leap motion for concerts, performances, installations and so on. The controller, for what it can offer, is relatively cheap, this is why many students of music and art schools buy them.
But most artists are Mac-users so right now you're getting a lot of very bad demos out there !
