Leap not working

I just purchased a leap motion controller for my windows 10 notebook.
I downloaded the software and set it up as instructed everything seemed to work properly (green light on, 3 red sensor lights inside were on, on computer screen i could see the video of my hand movements) except it needed to be re-calibrated for more accuracy, so I attempted to calibrate the controller in the middle of the calibration the window closed. so i attempted to start calibration a second time and the software could not find leap controller (now the green light was on but the 3 red lights inside were not turning on, and device manager recognized it being connected, but leap software does not recognize it being connected) I then switched USB ports & rebooted computer nothing changedthen I changed cables since 2 cables came with the controller and rebooted computer nothing changed.Then I uninstalled leap motion V2 desktop software and re installed software rebooted and nothing changed.
any suggestions?

The V2 software can cause some issues with Windows 10. You could try the Orion software, in the meantime I'm going to search for the link to the fix. If the Orion software doesn't work, I can't help you.

Here is what fixed it for me:

Run:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Leap Motion\Core Services\Drivers\cyfx3.inf
C:\Program Files (x86)\Leap Motion\Core Services\Drivers\ov580.inf

Right click --> install did it for me.
