Leap Motion with Wireless USB Hub/Device Server

I was wondering if anybody had any experience using the Leap Motion using a Wireless USB Hub or USB Device Server. I have been reading about driver issues with USB Hubs, however have not seen any comments about whether or not most device drivers are supported with a USB Device Server.

I have only been able to find a Wireless USB Hub made by IOGear and a USB Device Server by Silex.

We don't recommend anything beyond the stock cable. Perhaps more importantly, we don't test USB Device servers or hubs, so we can't really give any guidance on whether they will work. The Leap Device does use most of the bandwidth and electrical current specified by the USB 2 spec so any hub or USB server would need to meet that spec to the letter in order to have a chance of working.

Hello, currently evaluating USB device server DS-600 from Silex. Leap Motion service crashes. Electrical voltage stay at 5V with scope observation. It seems to be USB stack issue (I don't know which side) as Windows 7 Pro reports libusb-1.0.dll crash from LeapSvc.exe.
