Hello!
My brother bought the Leap Motion Controller a wile ago thinking he could run it as part of some Unity VR compatible apps. This was a month or two ago. He has given up completely. So, i started playing around with it. There was an error i found the first time around. The device somehow installed into x32. reinstalling the software, it installed into x64. no idea why, as there is no options for this anywhere. Its fixed now.
Since then, iv been having a tracking issue. The Leap Motion Controller WILL detect my hands, and they WILL motion. But, the issue is that they will over-exaggerate, spaz out, or just stop tracking.
Iv run the diagnostics,
iv run the visualizer,
I have followed error sheets,
Iv tried several different USB ports all 2.0, 3.0, and a 3.0 on an expansion card.
I have cleaned the unit two times with alcohol and the soft cloth
I have tried Luppet, VDraw, and VSeeFace. All of which have integration of Leap Motion Tracking (assuming the visualizer was somehow having an issue)
and looked for FAQs or other issues around the internet.
all while the Leap Motion Controller is sitting flat on the desk.
Its as if one of the two cameras in the device are dead. Not able to lock the hand across from it to catch orientation correctly. I try to wave, i try to touch my fingertips, spread and close my fingers, and i try to close one finger at a time.
