Hi!
We're a team that is currently working on a proof of concept on how VR could be used for diving into monitors of systems/networks/environments in history and real-time, as well as how it could enhance our customers' experience in a drag-n-drop-based development environment.
This is being done on Samsung Galaxy S8 with Gear VR with the associated controller. To give it an edge, we've been looking into replacing the controller with hand tracking, which led us to Leap Motion. The camera seems brilliant, as it's so small and fits on the VR goggles (as Gear VR has an additional USB-port, I'm hoping they can be connected?). It's a little unclear to me what exactly that is currently supported though, apart from that the mobile SDK hasn't yet been released. Is it anyway possible to get some sort of alpha/beta access to it? Otherwise, can you perhaps confirm that we could develop an app in Unity instead for the Samsung phone and Gear VR?
Best regards,
Daniel
