Leap Motion Requesting Legacy API's Error!

When I run a Leap Motion Application(Like 'Kyoto'). I get a notification: 'Leap Motion Controller is requesting Legacy APIs that aren't available in this version.' And then the application (e.g. Kyoto) says my controller is disconnected. I went to the 'Troubleshooting' window and everything was green(Good). Anybody know what to do?

Here you have all the releases (can't understand the "order by"... but they're all there)

Use the 2.3.1 and don't pay attention to alerts about needing an nVidia, etc... just omit those.
Maybe (surelly) it won't work from the beginning, but if you go after the installation to C:\Program Files (x86)\Leap Motion\Core Services\Drivers and there you double-click on (dpinst64.exe or dpinst.exe) depending on your OS (x64 o x86), it will start to work (you will need to do this just once, at the restart it would work correctly).

Hi.
I'm feeling very thick!

I wish to use Leap Motion in a desktop capacity and to use with Mad Mapper for interactive projection.

I can get the thing to track and appear in the visualiser, and I can calibrate it but nothing else works.

All apps I've tried give the message 'require Lecacy API's' or show it as disconnected and madmapper sees nothing when I try to map gestures.

All links to fixes and V2 software go nowhere...

Any help hugely appreciated

Hi. Yes to old versions it does. Thank you., Couldn't see 2.3.1? I'll look again, but couldn't clearly see what to install to simply get it working beyond visualiser. I apologise that my background is in design and content creation and less in the Dev and code.
