Hey fellow Leap Motion developers! I finally got my hands on a few Leap Motion controllers with the intention of creating a VR app using Unity. However, I am not very savvy with C# so I rely on assets like Bolt or Playmaker to make things happen in my productions. This has worked well for Oculus and SteamVR projects, however I am having quite a difficult time getting the Leap Motion SDK to cooperate with these visual scripting solutions.
I prefer to use Bolt over Playmaker, as Playmaker is limited to FSMs. I spent about 5 hours trying various things with Bolt and Leap Motion but I can’t get the interaction system to play nice. I’m not even trying to do anything all that fancy honestly; I am just trying to let the player interact with the UI by using their fingers. The example scenes work great of course, but these scenes are not using Bolt at all and rely solely on scripting.
I am praying someone has experience or knowledge of developing for Leap Motion in VR using Unity and Bolt or Playmaker. Please drop me a line if you are able to assist, it would be beyond appreciated!
