As you're developing your jam submission, please feel free to create a thread in this 3D Jam category to engage other devs and help show off what you're doing as things are moving along.

It looks like one team started off with theirs—Shadowcaster! Who else has some cool stuff cooking and would like to share? Even screenshots or simple video captures can show a lot.

Also, on our official jam site, you can submit early builds, screen shots or videos of your content if you want to showcase it there. I encourage both here in the community forums as well as there on the itch.io site.

I've just grabbed the latest Oculus unity integration, which works with Unity Free, but the Leap Motion unity/oculus package that I downloaded from your site is not compatible with it, and I don't know enough about the Oculus SDK scripts to fix it. Have I missed a more recent link to these Unity resources that work with the latest Oculus SDK? Or are you guys planning on updating them soon?

@Bren Not really, but an individual can register on behalf of a team. All the team's names would be credited in the final submission.

Cool, let me know how it goes. Note that to use the assets with the free version of Unity, you'll want to extract all the content in the .zip into your project. When you create an executable, be sure to copy all library files in the asset (DLL in Windows) to the executable's root folder. This is necessary because Unity Standard does not support moving third-party plugins.

As well, make sure that “Is Head Mounted” is enabled in the Hand Controller script

I'm getting DLL not found error in the LeapCSharp file when I import the latest leap motion and Oculus files into Unity 4.5. Anyone got any tips on getting the latest versions of each software to work nicely together?

I'm using pro. It works if I only download the leap motion vr examples but not when I import the latest oculus libraries.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to jump in here, say hello and see how everyone's projects are going. Anyone have any cool ideas and/or updates to share.

What am I up to? Unfortunately still waiting for my Leap to arrive in the mail, hopefully this week. Though I got super lucky and my Oculus DK2 arrived this weekend, so I've been experimenting with that and making sure I've got it up and running in Unity. Been brainstorming what I'll start prototyping and I think rather than creating a game or some typical form of entertainment, I'm going to focus on experimenting with how to use the interaction to create an artistic experience. Don't really have much more than that right now, but thought I'd share while I'm patiently waiting to actually start
