Hello,
I am a research student and am investigating how mirror therapy can be used in virtual environments. I have no issue with mirroring the hands themselves, but I am wondering if it's possible to be able to interact accurately with virtual objects using these mirrored hands? The interaction engine works very well when the hands are congruent, but when mirrored it does not seem to want to register grasping actions (it does register contact with the back of the hand though). I've tried messing with the scale of things like the interaction hands and contact bones (just using the Unity inspector), but that doesn't seem to make a difference.
Is there anything that can be done to get this to work? For reference, in order to mirror the hands I simply changed the x scale of the main camera in the leap rig to -1.
Many thanks to anyone who responds!
