Increase IR LED brightness for better initial detection

Hi,
for my application I need a fast initial detection of a pointing hand (only the index finger is extended).
But the Hand is not detected, even when the hand is completely open (with all fingers extended) and about 50 cm away. In the Diagnostic Visualizer I can see that the IR LEDs are not so bright in the beginning when no hand is detected. They get brighter, when the Hand is finally detected.
I'm using the latest version 4.0.0 (52173).
When using the V2 (2.3.1+31549), the IR LEDs are brighter, when no hand is detected, and the hand will be detected quite fast. But that version is not that stable in tracking.
Is there also a way to increase the initial detection by increasing the IR brightness with the new version?

We do reduce the power of the LEDs when no hand is initialized. This is a change we made in V4 as a power-saving measure (though admittedly it has limited benefits for the PC use case). Do you see the same effective behaviour in V3?

I haven't tested V3 yet but I will do it now.
Can you give me a possibility to increase the power of the LEDs in V4?

I tested version 3.2.1 and the initial detection is quite fast, and the LED brightness is constantly high. This is good.

Will there be a possibility to get this behavior as well in the newest version?

Not for the current build of V4, but we are reassessing the power-saving feature for future PC versions.
