I have v2 software but not able to use v2 apps

I have v2 but anytime i try to use a v2 app like per say "Shortcuts" it wont work. shortcuts just starts to open then disapears from everything and closes out. its not hiding in task manager either. it also wont let me download v2 apps sayingg i cant use them that i dont have the right version... but i have checked it a hundred times >.<

Just to clarify, when you go to Settings... -> About in the Leap Motion Control Panel, it 2.1.4+22333 (the latest version at the time of writing)?

If Shortcuts starts to open then disappears, it at least appears briefly as Shortcuts.exe in Task Manager before dying, right? Just trying to determine if it's a launching issue in App Home or a crash in Shortcuts.

How about the V2 app Playground? Can you at least run that one? It doesn't require downloading from the App Store.

What's the exact message you see saying you don't have the right version? We do have "An application is requesting features not available in this version of the Leap Motion service. Please install the latest Leap Motion V2 software" but that comes from the Leap Motion Control Panel only after an app is downloaded. Is the error message coming from the Leap Motion Control Panel icon, App Home, or the website (App Store)?

There was a recent problem in the installed software check, but that part should be fixed now.

I have the same problem. I installed V2 software (2.3.1+31549 to be exact), and when I run V2 Playground, it crashes in 5 seconds. Diagnostic Visualizer works fine, I see my hands. The only other thing that works is TAKT-RHYTHM for Windows, all other crash at start. Web applications don't work either. Please advise, what should I do? Thank you.
