How was "Shotcuts" created?

As I've said in a previous topic, I have to make an app for school in which you can stop, play, next, previous and shuffle songs on programs like Spotify and Windows Media Player.

I noticed that the app "Shortcuts" does a part of the things that we have to make, so I wonder in which language it's made and is it possible to open the codes?

Which language(s) do you work best in? I'd recommend writing the app in whichever language you feel the most confident about. Have you checked out the resources available on our Developer Portal?

I'm afraid I need some clarification regarding your question. Are you referring to Shortcuts, or the Developer Portal, or a different app? The code for Shortcuts is not available as an open source resource in any language.

I was reffering to Shorcuts the app. Isn't there any way to see how it's made or atleast in what language?

Shortcuts was created with C++, autowiring, and a custom build OpenGL graphics engine.

Unfortunately, we have no immediate plans to release that info. However, I encourage you to check out our C++ getting started resources, as well as information about our Autowiring framework.

Thanks for the useful links. Isn't there any way to get an exception on getting the info released for private use? It's a schoolproject that won't be published besides some teachers and it won't be used to make money of.
