Good day, everyone.
I remember years ago trying to write a pythong app with the leap motion sdk. I wanted to use python 3 but best I could to is 2.x
I tried looking into compiling my own version according to this doc page (at the bottom) but failed with errors.
https://developer-archive.leapmotion.com/documentation/python/devguide/Project_Setup.html#recompiling-leappython-for-python-3
Is this documentation still the up to date way of getting latest python 3.10.x to work with leap motion sdk? Or has there been advances or maybe leap motion has something new for average python3 users? It's been a while since I've looked into this and I've been out of the loop.
Also the documentation for building a new compatible library says that the latest Visual Studio that would work is 2012. Here's a pdf screenshot of the download page for Microsoft Tools, it is the only place where VS 2012 can be downloaded, Which of these do I need? Usually it's some sort of a community version but there is no such version listed here : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ux89CM2ktBH3ZOX66a2hRspAyVvM_Sa5/view?usp=sharing
