How to improve an initiation of tracking

I want to improve an initiation of tracking.
After the Tracking started it works fine,but sometimes the tracking has not started soon when I gestured my finger.
I set the allow Images to permit applications to receive infrared camera images from the Leap Motion hardware to prevent the infrared LED turns off,
and set UnCheck Automatic Power Saving Using the Leap Motion Control Panel.

Does anyone know how to improve the initiation of tracking?
I'm running Ver 2.2.0 on Windows.

Approximately how long of a delay are you experiencing? Is this in the visualizer, in an app, or in your own project?

After FingerList.Count became zero,it occurs when I keep the state without tracking in the visualizer and my own app.
Distance of the sensor and my finger is approximately 30cm.
This phenomenon is caused by operation only for index finger well, but does not have it with the palm.
Have you had a similar experience?

When you download our forthcoming software release, version 2.2.3, you should see some improvements with initialization.

Thank you for the good information.
Ver 2.2.3 was released today and I tried the latest software,but I couldn't get the good result I expected.
I would like to try something the other way to improve.
Does the recalibrate Leap Motion controller have to do with this phenomenon?
Which mode should I select the Robust Mode of the Leap Motion Control Panel?

A recalibration probably wouldn't hurt.

Can you describe how you are putting your hand into the field-of-view? I can sometimes reproduce the problem by carefully entering the field of view with my index finger extended and slowly moving up and over the device. Are you seeing it all the time or just under certain circumstances?

I tried the recalibration but it had almost no effect as you mentioned.

The phenomenon sometimes happens as you mentioned below.
However I haven't been able to get a certain condition in which it occurs.

I'll show you a sample of camera image.
My index finger is moving slowly towards -Z direction of the Leap Motion.

Thanks. I've filed a bug and will let you know when we have a resolution.

One question, I have to move very carefully and deliberately to make the problem happen -- it never occurs in normal usage. Is it the same for you, or is this interfering with your development efforts?

I think there is a bit of misunderstanding about this.
Probably It has not happened the problem you experienced.
It may not have to do with the problem you experienced,there is a variation in ease of the initiation depending on the moving direction.
In both cases, I want to get more ease of the initiation of tracking to improve the performance of my app.
