Help me out, please

Excuse me for asking this.]
I had my Leap Motion working as a music controller some years ago. Loved the concept.
But i can't seem to get it to work anymore.
When i plug it in, it is recognized by the software and the visualizer shows movement.
But i can't seem to get it to work in Ableton, controlling instruments etc. I have all kinds of M4L plugs, but they don't see any movement.
I'm totally lost because i once had it working on a different computer, but i don't know where to start anymore.

I'm on a macbook pro, Mojave 10.14.4
Please help me, i've been troubleshooting this for days now

Hey, unfortunately given the age of the OSX runtime and the fact that Mojave 10.14.4 is brand new, it's impossible for us to assess what the issue might be in Ableton. Is it the same version of Ableton that you used before? Are you using Geco MIDI or another app?

I don't think it's a os problem. I am using Geco, i see my fingers move.
Is it something with the SDK, the way i installed the thing?
I don't know.
No the version is different, but i see people use it all the time.
