FlyInside requesting features not on this version of Leap Motion service

Hello,
I just recently purchased a flight sim setup. got X Plane 11 (running version 11.01r2 (build 110102 64-bit) and Leap Motion (running version 2.3.1+31549). I have FlyInside downloaded a couple days ago (can't find what version im running) and when I launch FlyInside with Leap Motion plugged in and the service started, I get a Windows notification saying

Software Update Required
An application is requesting features not available in this version of the Leap Motion service. Please install the latest Leap Motion V2 software.

I already have the latest software from Leap Motion so I'm not sure what else to do.

After more research with less emphasis on Flyinside, I found that I needed to install the VR developer software as well. I installed Leap Motion Orion 3.2.0 and everything works.

Just to clarify, you don't necessarily need the SDK to get this working. The non SDK version of Orion available at www.leapmotion.com/setup will work just fine.

If you do wish to work on your own projects with the Leap Motion controller, the SDK can be downloaded from developer.leapmotion.com
