Editing Tracking Range; Using Multiple LMCs

I was attempting to use multiple LMCs in order to cover a wider range around the body, so if users were to extend their arms outside the view of their 'eyesight', their hand models would still be intact. I am aware of the problems with switching from one LMC to the other, my question is this; is it possible (through scripting or some other means) to edit the radius in which the leap motion controller is detecting the hand? The conical range is 150 degrees by 120, I was wondering if there was any way to decrease/edit that range. Thank you!

Apologies for the late reply to this, have you seen our experimental release of a Multi Device Service which is available here?

The tracking model will attempt to identify any hands within it's field of view and whilst its not possible to place a firm limit on the range of the Leap Motion Controller itself potentially you could build your application to disregard tracking data outside of your desired interaction zone.

This experimental release is a good place to get started and begin your testing but please note that this is a very experimental release that is unsupported and presented as-is.
