Distance from headset

Hello,

I am having some difficulties with the leap motion controller.
The distance that it detects hands is not long enough.
I want to be able to stretch my arms out fully and still detect the hands.

Anyone who has a fix for this?

What version of the software are you using? Can you share a video of what you're seeing?

I don't have access to it at the moment, but this is pretty much my setup.
We have a custom controller with a xbox controller in it.
And we use UE 4.15 at the moment.

It seems like the issue might be with the controller's ability to detect hands when they are holding a controller, as opposed to the range as a whole.

That's what we thought because in the dev tools it shows all most the same reflection as from the hands. Any ideas on what kind of materials we could use for our controller? Right now it's a plastic sticker.

With the caveat that these types of use cases aren't officially supported Duvetyne or another dark matte material would do the trick.
