Evaluating the best way to introduce hand tracking on Vive Cosmos (currently used for demos and testing for industrial sim projects) or Vive Pro (probably used on customer side).
Since we didn't need complex interaction the best option will be to just simulate a controller input, so to guarantee out of the box compatibility with current applications and used 3d engine, avoiding also the HTC hand tracking SDK that will need us to custom integrate the hand tracking in every new application or develop a new plugin for the 3d engine (not using Unity or Unreal).
Want to know if this will be possible using current Orion software.
