For starters, my C drive is not full; it's no where near full. And Net 3.5 is built into Windows 8.1, but it's impossible to install it separately (I've tried multiple forums).

End result: I can't download any apps from the App Home.

Any suggestions?

Glad to hear it! Please hopefully, those other users that were running into this get a chance to try the fix

No luck. In fact, my Windows computer insists that I need to first install Net 3.5 before I can install this file, which itself is Net 3.5.

My university tech guy has informed me that the problem is likely that the apps are using an older system (Net 3.5 is quite outdated), and that the problem is hopeless until they/you upgrade.

I hope this isn't the case because I spent this money, not them.

I actually ran into this same issue on my computer when I was trying to replicate this issue. The way I was able to resolve it was by rebooting my computer and then updating .NET 3.5 through windows update, which seemed to solve the problem. Could you try checking windows update to see if you are able to get it installed?

I,ve reinstalled Windows 10 in C:, change with regedit.exe the default Windows apps instalation to other disk with more than 400gb and installed there(D:), and fixed it.

Glad to hear that you were able to resolve the issue. Thanks for letting us know
