Can we use Intel UP Board with Leap Motion Controller?

I have to use Leap Motion Controller for gesture recognition purpose. It cannot be used with Raspberry Pi. It needs x86/x64 processor for the same. Can I use Intel UP Board with it? Or are there any other options other than the mentioned SBC?
Also, what can be the flow diagram for complete gesture recognition project?

As a general rule, SBCs are not powerful enough to run the Leap Motion software, though we have heard a positive report from a developer attempting to use the LattePanda Alpha.
