Can Orion work on a Microsoft Surface?

for an installation I need the machine powering Orion to be ultra-flat.
Could you tell me if it performs well on a Microsoft Surface tablet?

Sorry but I don't understand, in my mind Surface machines are a two in one laptop/tablet with switchable Windows mode, what are you referring to by Surface tablet?

I guess my question is more, could Orion run on a machine powering Windows 10 and an Intel i5 like this one?

To elaborate, you are able to run the Leap Motion software on the Surface Pro tablets but not the RT line. The one you linked should work but the system doesn't meet the recommended specs for VR use so you'll most likely run into performance issues on more graphically intensive applications.

Thanks for clarifying! I had Googled "Microsoft Surface tablet" and came across some older models that are built with mobile processors. The Surface Pro 4 should be perfectly fine, so long as you're not planning on using it for VR (which requires a more powerful machine).

thanks for your help.

I just need to run the web sockets server on this tablet to get the Leap data on a Samsung phone, the tablet isn't handling the graphics part so hopefully it will be fine.
If you can think about another alternative to handle the job I take it 😉
