I was asking that myself too, if the autorig script would make it easily possible to use the Hi-Poly Pepper Hand (or any other realistic Hand Mesh from V2) in Orion.
My guesses are the same as yours, that the bone structure in the hierarchy has to be named using the following convention here [1] or actually 1:1 as in the autorig example.
However, I did not tried it out yet, maybe giving this a shot in the upcoming days. Also I am not sure if it would be sufficient to rename the bone-objects simply in the Unity Editor or rather directly rename the .FBX file in a 3D Model program.
